Hi friends, it’s been a fairly quiet month for us in church so I thought I’d tell you about an adventure we mice have been on. Well the first Sunday of the month there was no service in church, strange we thought then we heard someone say that everyone had gone to Escot Church for their special service, I do hope their mice enjoyed having our friends as well. Dear Friends, Hope you all ad a lovely Easter, we mice had a great time. What fun we had watching so many children on Good Friday, they came into church after their parade with their crosses from the village hall, shame they didn't have their hot cross buns in church so we could nibble up he crumbs. But there was an egg or two left after the egg hunt in the churchyard, he he. They all looked as if they enjoyed themselves even though that part of the Easter story is very sad.

Report on the Bulb and Flower Show 2013
Our 50th show has received lots of positive comments, about the impact on all the senses, as people entered the hall, I think everyone will agree that it looked a picture.
In a few weeks we will be having a meeting to plan and discuss next year’s show. We would welcome new members on the committee, or if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please get in touch with Di Somers or myself; we would love to hear from you.

TVCT – Theatre event to commemorate the beginning of WW1
The official start of WWI was June 28, 1914 when the Archduke and heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia, were assassinated. The war ended on November 11, 1918 with the treaty of Versailles.
It is estimated that, on all sides, 65 million men were mobilised. Of these, 8.5 million were killed, 21 million wounded and 7.7 million became Prisoners of War. Therefore over half of all soldiers who were involved were killed, wounded or captured.
