I’ve often thought I ought to write a diary and what better place to start than the Parish Magazine – but I’ve missed January already! Never mind, it’s always a quiet month in any case.
February for me is a less physical month, but a big month for planning for our major event of the year – lambing. The ewes all came in a few weeks ago, as we lamb indoors and I like them to get used to the new regime well in advance of lambing starting. Hi friends, hope you are all well and enjoyed your half term holiday. We mice were a bit disappointed as there hasn’t been any snow; we love to go out jumping in the snow piles and burying each other in the drifts. Sometimes it’s so cold that icicles form in our fur and then when we go inside and into our nests Mum moans that we make too much mess and get everything wet, but it’s fun.
