Beware – BT scam hits Payhembury!

9 February 2019 By Sue

I think many people know that there have been quite a few phone calls claiming to be from BT or Openreach and saying that there is a “problem” with your line, broadband etc.

However, these people can be VERY convincing and someone in the village has been scammed very recently and lost a lot of money as a result.

PLEASE do not get into any conversation with a caller like this, hang up and inform the police on https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/reporting-fraud-and-cyber-crime.
