As you can see we mice are really happy. Do you know why? Well the sun has got its hat on and it’s come out to play! WE have been able to run around outside instead of having to stay indoors in the dry, it’s been great to feel the sun on our furry backs. It’s been even funnier to see some knobbly knees appearing around the village, they do look a bit white but soon they will be brown. What we really like is to see the lovely spring flowers, the snowdrops and crocuses and daffodils in the churchyard look lovely. Do you know Dad mouse picked a couple of snowdrop heads for Mum mouse the other day and put them in our nest, we thought he was soppy but Mum was very pleased, she squeaked with delight.
It’s been lovely to see people arrive in church not dripping wet.
We must say we did enjoy the soup lunch this month, all those delicious crumbs left for us to eat and some lovely chocolate cake crumbs as well, yum, yum.
We also had a lovely baptism, Lily Martin and her family came to church for her christening, she wasn’t too keen on Rev Cate pouring water over her head though, we were watching from on top of the screen, but no one saw us!
Soon it will be wedding time, Amy and Sam’s. Grandma mouse says she can remember Amy coming to church with school when she was little, I hope they have some nice tasty confetti for us to nibble. Thinking of food I can here Mum calling for tea, cheery bye, Parchie
