Hi folks Parchina and I are in such a hurry, Mum and Dad have just told us that we are off on holiday, it was such a surprise we, didn’t know anything about it. Mum said if she told us too early we would have kept on and on asking how many more days to go; now we are in a rush because we are going tomorrow. We don’t know what to pack, shall we take this or that, oh help!
We are going to the seaside, we are visiting some of our cousins who live near the sea on a caravan site, oh it’s so exciting I can’t wait. They tell us that there is lots going on, we can even swim in the sea as the sun goes down if we are careful and there aren’t any cats or dogs nearby so we can play in safety, the only problem is something called seagulls. There are big birds which can be very nasty and they pinch all the food. Our cousins have told us that there are lots of fish and chips, that’s going to make a change from our usual diet of biscuits, but we have to be careful as the seagulls like them too and we should never fight with the seagulls are they peck hard and can even carry off little mice like us.
We’re not thinking about seagulls, we’re thinking about playing in the sand and running up and down the sand dunes, sliding on slippery seaweed and licking out I scream wrappers, oh I can’t wait.
It’s been a rather quiet month in church, no weddings but we did have the christening of the Collin’s boys, Archie and Alfie at the end of the month , that was fun and a different vicar took it as well. We all enjoyed the Leavers’ Service and are sad the yr 6 children won’t be with us on Thursdays but we hope they have a great time at their next school.
Hey Mum is calling for us to finish packing must dash, now where did I put my blue swimming cossy? Will send you a postcard if I get the chance. Love Parchie and Parchina.
