Latest News from the Bell Ringers – June

2 June 2017 By Sue

mFollowing some very successful fund-raising, thanks as always to the generosity of local people, and a grant from the Devon Church Bell Restoration Fund, we have been able to have some essential maintenance done on the bells, including the replacement of bushes and pulleys, and the provision of new bell ropes. The bells now run very smoothly.

It has been recommended by Nicholsons and the DCBRF that we should have the metal bell frame scraped and repainted and we would be interested if any local firm would to like submit an estimate.
