Payhembury Provisions – September

10 September 2013 By Sue

logoWe are pleased to say that thanks to everyone who bought tickets for our Roast Dinner raffle over the past year we now have a significant sum of money ready to be given to village organisations or clubs. If you would like to buy something for your club/organisation but thought you couldn’t afford it please apply in writing to David Curran, Chairman of the shop committee by September 10th telling us why you would like a grant and what you would use it for. The committee will consider all applications and award grants at their discretion. The successful applicants will be announced at our annual member’s meeting in October.

So please everyone buy your Roast Dinner raffle tickets at the shop each week knowing you will be supporting village organisations and you might be lucky enough to win your choice of a £10 joint of local meat from our supplier K and M Butcher’s in Ottery (or a vegetarian substitute if you prefer) and a selection of fresh vegetables, making a great meal for your family and friends.
