Tea and Bingo

 

The “Cup of Tea and Bingo” group is held in the Six Bells – and we really appreciate them hosting us each month.

It is on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.15pm and we are always happy to see new faces. If you have any queries or need a lift, please phone Marjorie Southall or Sue Derbyshire.

Tea and Bingo – May

Another successful meeting in the Six Bells – where we were well looked after by Don and Carole, the new management team. Many thanks to them for taking us on and we wish them all the best in the pub and the village. There were slightly fewer of us, but we still had a good time and even mini Easter eggs to celebrate the month. Cakes were lovely (even the one from the shop, courtesy of Sue!) with Marjorie’s delightful home-made sponge cake the clear winner. The prizes were nicely spread this time, which is nice to see. Tea and Bingo – April

Apologies for forgetting to post last month’s report – we’ll have two together to make up for it! We continue to meet regularly in the Six Bells where we are very well looked after – many thanks Chris! We had two newcomers in February, Liz Watnough (with her sister from London) and Marian Edwards. Sadly Joy was unable to join us, but sent along her famous boiled fruit cake which was thoroughly enjoyed by all – many thanks Joy. Tea and Bingo – February

We held our first meeting in the Six Bells in January and very nice it was too. We were all cosy in front of the fire and had our usual tea and cake – thanks to Marjorie for the lovely offerings! Many thanks to the pub for looking after us so well, we do appreciate it and look forward to our February get together. Tea and Bingo – January

January 1st, 2017

The Six Bells is open and ready for the “Bingo Gang”! (Please ignore date in the Dec Parish Paper – Wednesday is, of course, the 11th of January. Apologies) Soooo – see you on Wed 11th January at 2.15pm in the Six Bells’ function room for our favourite game plus the usual prizes, cup of tea and yummy cake Come and join us – all welcome!
