12 July 2021 By Sue

After the rain of recent times it was no great surprise that the bowlers came out on top in last nights match at Tuck Mill .

Batting first Millers innings was glued together by a patient 20 not out from Shane Tout, supported by 27 from Jason Wood and 18 from Dan Rugg, closing on 94 all out with just seven shots breaching the boundary ropes and Bob Adam’s returning very impressive figures of 5-12.

Fullsys Allstars response was pretty much halted before it could get going with Neil Chambers taking 5-5 right at the start of the innings and despite a classy 25 from John Baker wickets fell regularly and with only four boundaries the innings was wrapped up by Simon Kittow, Fullsys ending on 66 all out.

A win for the Millers by 28 runs with congrats to Bob and Neil on exploiting the conditions to earn a Michelle apiece
