Village Emergency Telephone System – VETS

28 March 2022 By Sue

If somebody collapses or has chest pain ..

CALL 999 then 01404 565911

.. to summon help from a volunteer in the village, who will fetch the defibrillator and assist with resuscitation.

Over 30 people attended the resuscitation training session on 7th March and hopefully found it well worthwhile.

There is an excellent free app called Lifesaver – to see this app please click https://life-saver.org.uk/.

This takes you through several scenarios. Remember you can not make the situation worse and can do no harm.

You might save a life.
