Hello Friends, isn’t it exciting, Christmas is nearly here! Oh I get so excited when I see Christmas trees appearing, mind you I don’t like the prickles that fall off the tree, they stick in my fur and the hurt my toes. But I do like the lights and baubles it looks so pretty. We mice often run around the village and peep into people’s windows just to look at all the brightly coloured lights, watch out for us!
We hope we will be able to run around the village as we are a bit fed up with all the rain, if the heating isn’t on in church we can’t dry off and we get so cold. So we like it when the church is warm and full of people and especially we like it when the children come in from school on a Thursday, their singing is so lovely an d we love to listen to Rev Cate tell a story and sometimes Mrs Hammett tells the story, now I’m not going to tell you who I think is best- he he.
We’re looking forward to some good singing over Christmas at the Nativity and Carol Services, hopefully there will be lots of crumbs to eat up from the mince pies. The adults also have something to drink which smells very strange some sort of hot wine I think, but there’s never any for us mice.
Well I had best get started on writing my mice Christmas notes and delivering them, if I can dash between the raindrops and see what I can find as presents for Mum, Dad, Granny and Grandad and of course Parchina, any ideas?
Have a very Happy Christmas, Parchie.
