At the beginning of March all our volunteers got together for a candlelit supper at the Parish Hall which has now become an annual occasion to thank everyone who helps in the shop in every way. This year there were over 40 of us tucking into Yellingham Farm beef casserole cooked by Ed, followed by Paula's lemon posset.....mmmmmm, and an after dinner talk by Janet East with some of her funnier moments on the farm.

Payhembury Spring Bulb and Flower Show – Report
I’m sure you’ll all agree that the 54th Bulb Show was a resounding success. The hall looked and smelt fantastic and it’s obvious that Payhembury is full of talented, clever, creative people.

Tea and Bingo – April
Apologies for forgetting to post last month’s report – we’ll have two together to make up for it!
We continue to meet regularly in the Six Bells where we are very well looked after – many thanks Chris! We had two newcomers in February, Liz Watnough (with her sister from London) and Marian Edwards. Sadly Joy was unable to join us, but sent along her famous boiled fruit cake which was thoroughly enjoyed by all – many thanks Joy.
